Artist Statement
I am influenced by the art of Asia. I like
to create art which evoke feelings of harmony, tranquility and peace. I
think of these triad emotions as a state of Eden: that perfect place
for which each individual consciously or subconsciously strives to
attain. I believe by tapping into this state one can move toward
wholeness. Harmony is what I strive for in my work. I feel if my
work transports individual viewers to that place of calm then I have
done well.
